When Kirsten Leo swapped her classroom teaching tools for the celestial compass of the moon's cycles, she embarked on an extraordinary voyage that she's here to share with us. Her story of transformation from an elementary school teacher to a spiritual practitioner is nothing short of inspiring, as she illuminates the profound impact the lunar rhythms have on personal growth and feminine empowerment. Join A Witch, A Mystic & A Feminist, as we discuss with Kirsten how these celestial patterns offer a powerful framework for women to reclaim their strength and step into a leadership role that defies societal norms.
We take a deep look at the ancient connection between women and the moon, considering the emotional and energetic shifts that coincide with its phases. As Kirsten guides us through the historical significance of women's wisdom and the cyclical nature of life, we touch upon the reawakening of practices that honor this natural bond. We also examine the Age of Aquarius, a time that promises a collective evolution towards higher consciousness and inclusivity, paving the way for a new paradigm of leadership rooted in intuition and care.
Wrapping up our journey with Kirsten, we explore the art of setting intentions with the moon. The new moon invites us to plant seeds of desire, while the full moon challenges us to release anything that hinders our progress. Delve into the significance of these rituals and how they foster a continuous relationship with oneself, using journal prompts, affirmations, and the supportive backdrop of astrology. Kirsten's deep dive into the rhythms of the moon is a testament to the transformative power of self-discovery and the rich wisdom waiting to be unlocked within us all.

Speaker 1:
Welcome to A Witch, a Mystic and a Feminist. With your hosts, jamie, marlena and Christy, that's me. Today, we welcome special guest Kirsten Leo. Kirsten is the host of the Light Path podcast and a practitioner with the Light Path Collective, a community who provides guidance and support to those on their spiritual journey. Today, we'll be discussing, among other things, the moon and its beautiful energy, and how to harness that energy to enhance our lives.
Speaker 2:
Welcome, kirsten, thank you, thank you so much for having me. We are. Even though we might be on different sides of the world, we are absolutely under the same moon, which connects us all, so it's so beautiful to be here with you.
Speaker 1:
It is definitely. Could you actually give our listeners just a little bit of background on who you are and how you came to this path? Sure.
Speaker 2:
So this is not a path, the path of the mystic or the healer or the channel was not one that I had ever desired or wanted to walk. I was a primary school teacher or elementary school teacher. I was a kindergarten teacher for 20 years. I happily living my life, and it wasn't until I was going through a difficult period at around the age of 30, you know the classic big breakup, and an acquaintance of mine suggested that or offered like I know this woman, she's this medium. I didn't even know what a medium was. I went and saw her, hoping that she'd be telling me everything was going to be fine. I walked in and she said you, I've been waiting for you, sit down. This is who you are, this is what you do. And I was like no, it is actually not. I go crazy hippie lady and I quite like my nice handbags and things. This is not my. I don't know what you're talking about. So left there thinking that was a waste of time. And then it was just a couple of weeks later where I was, just so you know, heartbroken. It was not an easy time, I don't know why, but I reached back up to her and she said come, come and sit with me. So I went and we sat in the meditation and as soon as she took me into that meditation I thought, oh, it just was like the most at home feeling I've ever had in my life. And to connect that way and ultimately what I now know we were in like that transcendental meditation state. It was something that for me apparently she was right I can hold that really easily. I just went straight in and so I decided to sit in with her, join this beautiful meditation circle full of amazing healers, and over the next 10 years kind of just became more and more of myself in this space. To the point now I'm mid 40s, I work full time as I do a lot of things, but I work one on one with people still doing readings and energy healing, but my biggest passion is working with the moon. I think that we're going through, as women, such a transition into major leadership and the world turning. It is changing. But we have to quote I don't even know who said it, but someone wonderful was saying that we've been taught to speak the language of men and so as women, we don't really have a language around leadership and pushing forward with our own gifts and for me, what I have found is there is a lot of buzz talk or has been a little buzz talk around feminine energy and none of it really resonated with me. I didn't want to dance, I didn't want to be seductive, I didn't want to do all the typical things that they tell you to do to tap into your feminine, but I was always fascinated with the moon and the energy and the stories and the gifts that it offers, and so, personally, working with the moon cycles has been my personal practice. So, coming into this work full time, what I really realized was, ah, this is actually what connects me to my feminine energy, and the history of women working with the moon cycles is massive. So for me, working with the moon, yes, it's a personal development and healing and spiritual practice, but more importantly, it's about really harnessing my innate majesty and empowerment as a woman, and to share that with other women and to guide them in that is a huge gift. And the other aspect of that is real autonomy over our paths and how we do things for ourselves. And so the way in which I work with the moon with other women is not directly led, which we might get into later. So how I got onto this path was one of complete alignment, synchronicity, but also a heck of a lot of surrender. For me, like I said, it wasn't a path that I wanted, and I think that when we give ourselves permission to do that, that's where the magic lies, not in the strategic, mapped out life or the language of men that we've been taught. Wow.
Speaker 3:
I know I'm like that was beautiful.
Speaker 1:
I will be honest with you up until probably well, we'll just say 2020, when everything happened right, and there was a major shift for everyone. I was just not aware of how much the moon affected or could affect, right, like just the energy. And so the first way I came to realize was with our cycles, right, like our cycles can be right in line with the moon, with the new moon or the full moon. And when I started tracking that, I was like this is amazing, but then also not so amazing, Like also, yeah, duh, kind of thing, right, and so it was just that information. And then from there I was like okay, wow, all right. Well, there's something to this.
Speaker 2:
Obviously, lots of ancient moon rituals, the interesting thing about the cycles is, it's like 29.5 days roughly is a moon cycle, as is our cycle, right, right, the way I well, I'm so obviously you can tell from my voice. I'm in Australia, so we live a majority by the coast, so the beach and the waves are very much a thing for us. The thing that drew me to it was understanding that this moon creates the tides in all the ocean, so we are 70 roughly percent water. Surely it affects us as a kindergarten teacher, or ask any emergency nurse, you know when it's a full moon. Oh, yeah, right, the kids are mental, well, let's just say energetically and emotionally sensitive. Yes, the moon's magnetism is very strong in a full moon, so often, you know. That's why we have like wolves howling at the full moon. All that kind of stuff and feminine energy is one of deep connection to self and to nature. We as humans are just part of that. Women were the leaders of communities, kingdoms, all the things, until there was an unpleasant but maybe necessary shift. It's just the way of history, and so, as women, we were burnt at the stake for looking at the moon or coming up with our homeopathic remedies, or intuitively knowing what is right for us or our community, our children, our elders, whatever it was. So of course, we have a natural inclination to be massively disconnected from what is innate to us. And how beautiful that now we can not only reclaim that for us, but start to really expand into the power that all these practices hold for our daughters and our grand daughters, and all that's to come, because in this age of Aquarius, whether you like it or not, or believe it or not, it's going that way. And so how can you be on the train, as opposed to thinking everyone's crazy at the station, you know?
Speaker 3:
Yeah, so the age of Aquarius. Is that where we are? Yeah, we're here now. Yeah, we're here, we're in it, we're in it.
Speaker 2:
So really, this is I'm just to give you a little astrological background to that. So Pluto is a very slow-moving, far-out planet, but it has a big impact Because it's so far-out. It's a very slow-moving planet, so planets move through signs quite quickly. Like you would all know about Mercury retrograde, that moves through quite quickly. We have a few of those a year but Pluto moves really slowly, so slowly in fact. You know around 20, 18 to 20 years to do a sign, yeah, and we saw, is the planet of death, destruction, transformation, and so really it sits in there to really get deep on whatever that astrological signs Kind of jam is. So in the last 20 or 18 so years it's been in Capricorn, capricorn's awesome energy, love, Capricorn energy. But I kind of pythomize Pluto in Capricorn more than the Kardashians. It was about going out, getting look at me, look at what I can grab and get Even like that, their dad, what their dad did, fighting legal systems, beating legal systems when clearly His clients were in the wrong all that kind of stuff like I can get mine and Status was really revered in terms of money and wealth and power. I like to think of that time as patriarchy's last hurrah. So I really hope they enjoy it because it's done. Yeah, yeah, listen, this is nothing against men or anything like that. We love our men, but I think that as we go into this age of Aquarius, where it is going to be about, actually, who are we as individuals and how does that contribute to the greater good of all? That's really all it is. Yes, there's going to be big advancements in politics, technology, but you know, last time this happened it was the French Revolution In Mozart. Think about all that kind of stuff like beautiful, very, very confronting things. You know, we're changing structures, changing the way we do things. Power to the people and, as women, I think we have a right to step into our own in terms of empowerment and leading, with all the good juicy stuff like intuition and Fairness and everyone being looked after, everyone being nurtured. But as women, we also have a very big responsibility To nurture our men through that, because they don't know what their role will be in this and we really do have to, in a lot Of ways, teach them, and I believe in my call that men do want to be taught, men Do want to be part of this and and they don't want to be in their masculine in terms of I get, I control. They want to be in their masculine in terms of I provide, I protect, and so really it's a great time for everybody. But, as we all know, we've always been in charge right, so we have to now really own and not be afraid or ashamed of it and really celebrate it, and so working with the moon is one way in which we are able to really get in touch with our innate nature and our intuition, but also With our crap that we need to get rid of and with really being okay with what it is we desire to.
Speaker 4:
I'm curious because I'm I'm like, fascinated by everything that you're saying and, for me, astrology I just I've always had a hard time wrapping my head around it because there's a lot. And so, specifically with regards to the moon and you as a moon mentor, and someone like me who may be resistant, or you know, someone comes in and they're kind of resistant, as you were when you first were told this is your path, and you're like, no, don't think it is. How do you work with people like that? Like how would you? How would you work with your clients?
Speaker 2:
So, in terms of my moon Membership, this is where I highly value autonomy. So my membership isn't one in which I will see in front of you and I will lead you. It's actually one in which, at every fall and new moon, you will be provided with a truckload of resources to use To help guide you through it and for your and for you to make sense of your connection to that moment and your part, because that's another big thing with the age of Aquarius, it is going to be about sovereignty, what is right for you, what makes sense for you, and being discerning about that. So how I would approach a conversation with someone who maybe is an exposure is a bit like. That's a bit far out, and all that kind of stuff is one of. Yeah, I get it. Of course it's far out because we've been told that it is really silly and stupid for centuries and we're really cool than made fun of. But at the end of the day, all we really have in this lifetime is an opportunity to be really curious and playful, and so why wouldn't you be? I love? Wayne Dyer used to say we don't know enough to not be curious. He didn't really say it like that. He said it much more like what Lee, then I'm saying it, but you don't know you'll, you never know enough to to be really like anti something or against something you know. And so to me it's playful, it's curiosity and yeah, sure, it might seem silly to the rational mind, but you know, like anything, I think if you open to it with a playful curiosity which, as women, that's the best part of being a woman Is to be curious Then you can discover. Yes, so much about the world. But more importantly, working with the cycles of the moon is a journey to the self. It's a journey to self-discovery, expansion and Opening and a deep healing path. So I would say to someone like you To totally get it, and if it doesn't speak to you then this is not for you. But if it's slightly curious, then like why?
Speaker 3:
wouldn't you play with it? Yeah, so I'm thinking how do I phrase this properly? So I've always been very much drawn to the moon, for whatever reason. It's just something that it's like I look up every night or I have to go look at the moon. Even my kids are like oh mom, you know the moon, the moon, the moon, and you know it's so pretty tonight or whatever, and so there is definitely a natural instinct to be drawn to the moon for me. So I really want to explore that, I really want to dive a little bit deeper to see what that meaning is for me. But even at home, you know, maybe I know it's the full moon or there's going to be a new moon coming soon Are there simple practices that I can do at home that maybe might be a little bit of a ritual or something that can bring in that energy, or just I don't know if it's a meditation, I don't know if it's a crystal cleansing with the light of the moon at night? I mean, is there something I could do at home? Just a basic practice? Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2:
So much but also like so simple little things. Yeah, but to break it down, really, the moon is, as I said before, a 29.5 day cycle, but the peak moments of that moon cycle are a full and a new moon. So the new moon actually marks the start of a moon cycle. It is when the moon's light is blocked by the sun, so the earth is not receiving the moon's light. So we see this as a really dark, fertile time. So when a new moon, traditionally what we do is we set intention, so we think about it as seas that we're planting in deep, dark, fertilized soil and I'll get to how we fertilize that energetic soil but we sit at a new moon and we think to ourselves what is it that we do truly desire and what is really aligned with us? So when I started this work, it was like I desire the mansion or the amazing man or whatever it was, all these big, stupid crap that isn't really important. And the more I work with the moon and understand that the moon is cycling through the signs. So we've just had a full moon. We're coming up to a new moon in Aquarius. Prior to that we had the new moon in Capricorn. So at that new moon in Capricorn, with that Capricornian energy and, of course, of the other planets where they're sitting affected. And I go through all that every new moon or full moon in the Moon of the ship, so you know what's kind of happening. It gives you a theme or a focus. So at the last new moon in Capricorn, we were guided to set big intentions, because it is the start of the Age of Aquarius and Capricorn is all about the summit of the mountain. They decide what they want and they go for it. And so it was like, okay, what is it that you do really really want? Not what society tells you that you want or you should have. What is for right for you, what do you really? And we set that intention I desire, or I evoke the energy to align with this path or this thing. So you set your intention there. Now, about two weeks later, a full moon will come, and a full moon is when the whole moon's light is shining on us, and really what we say is that it's like the spotlight is shining on us and so nothing can be hidden. So at a full moon, we get to see what it is that is blocking us from our desires or stopping us from moving forward. So this is why, at a full moon, you'll hear people say it's a releasing ceremony or ritual, do I?
Speaker 4:
identify.
Speaker 2:
What is it that's not allowing me to be at my fullest, greatest expression or happiness or purpose or whatever it is. And at a full moon, as a ritual, you would write those things down and you would burn it and release it. So at the full moon, in Leo, leo, energy is all about spotlight on me. Throw my hair back, pride, courage, let's go for it. It's very heart centered. And so what is it inside of you, deep within, that is actually blocking you from your greatness? Is it shame, is it embarrassment, is it self pity, self judgment, all of that kind of stuff? So it was a really deeply internal one, actually, and you get to stop and actually think about this stuff. And because it's a new moon, then a full moon, and then two weeks later a new moon, you're constantly on top of yourself, or you kind of get into the cycle of oh, it's a new moon, what is it I intend for myself? Oh, it's a full moon. How am I really stuffing this up? If you're doing that every two weeks, then you are completely, always in relationship with yourself. It is a very private practice. Yes, can you sit in moon circles with other women and feel their energy? Of course it's beautiful, but the work is a deeply private and deeply individualistic practice because only it's sovereignty right. This is what this is all about. Only you can know and be responsible for the quality of your life. And gone are the days where we're going to blame external circumstances. We are going to take responsibility and say what are the things that I'm doing or not doing? So, having released this at the full moon in Leo, we're in the moon membership. We look deep down at our shadow, and that's shame. You know what we do hold, shame about what it is that you do really want or is aligned for you. Let's release that. And it's just that you're naming it. Sometimes, naming it, writing it down, is the paid set. You know, when you face something that you've been hiding it, it loses its power. And now we're coming up next week to a new moon. I don't know when this is going to go out, but the cycles are always same in a new moon and in Aquarius. And now we get to look at. Actually, you as an individual have so much to give. How are you not embracing your own individuality? Is it in the clothes that you're wearing? Is it in the way that you're speaking? Have you maybe gone down a career path and you're like I don't really want to do it that way, I want to do it my way and to set intentions around really giving yourself permission to bring you an individuality forward, because this is what you came for. You came to be you. You came to be like everybody else under the age of Capricorn, with everyone with the same Gucci bag, whatever the hell was going on. You came to be you. So what is you? And I feel women especially, we get so caught up in the service of others, which I think is such a privilege but it can be very overwhelming and we lose a lot of who we are and what it is that we really want, whether it's cultural or in society, expectations or just plain old busyness. So, if you can, on a full moon night, maybe put out your crystals, if you have them, or just sit and think about man, what am I done doing? That's the best question. What am I done doing? And then, at a new room it's a new opportunity to set an intention, not a goal necessarily, but an intention like I intend. Simply, I intend to care for myself, I intend to love myself, I intend to be just a little bit braver this month, whatever it is, and the more you do that, the easier and not only that it gets, but the more interesting it gets, because your whole life can change based on the fact that you've just given yourself this moment of attention.
Speaker 4:
So we just had the full moon and that's actually exactly what I did. And I've been going through kind of a rut in my life and I won't say a rut, I mean I am truly blessed and I do love my life, but I've had patterns from the past that apparently I didn't learn. Those lessons start to resurface, and so I recognize that and have been trying to change that. So this past full moon I did exactly that where I was just writing down all of the things that I'm ready to let go of and that I'm kind of done with, and then set it on fire and a lot of this. I was discussing with my husband about some of the changes that I want to make in my life and things that I don't want to do anymore and habits and patterns that just no longer serve me, and so I started writing those down. So he came out with me and we lit it on fire. Then the next day because also him and I haven't been normally we're very, very aligned I'll be thinking something and then he'll email me or text me and vice versa, and that hasn't been happening lately because of these patterns and so wrote it down, lit it on fire the next day I was thinking, oh, we should go on a date. And then he texts me hey, you want to go on a date tonight, you want to go on a dinner date. And I was like, oh, and here we are again. So yeah, I think also because of the element of fire too. You know, it just happened so quickly.
Speaker 2:
Like I love so much of what you just said. Just, I want to address the magic of that and I want to really point out it isn't magic, it is exactly the words you use. It's alignment, because when we are mentally, physically, emotionally, energetically really aligned with anything, it was yes. When you started speaking, you said I've been going through a rut. I don't really want to call it a rut. My life is blessed. We're allowed to go through ruts. We're allowed to feel disconnected from or dissatisfied with our lives and as women, if we don't admit that wholeheartedly, then how can we ever really be authentic, mm-hmm, and so I want to be. I just want to say like, don't apologize for not feeling it or for doing some self-sabotaging things. That's human, that's so normal. And then when you know you're talking about, you know there's things I want to change. I think a lot of our change or desire to change comes from dissatisfaction. But the more I find I work with the moon cycles, my desire for change comes from excitement and comes from a drive towards what it is that is so authentic and aligned for me. And it comes from a place of not. I don't like what I've been doing, I'm dissatisfied with what I'm doing, but I'm so ready for the next level and that is a huge, even though it sounds little, that is a huge energetic shift. So I can't wait, like. What I would say to you is keep going, keep questioning, even if you don't feel you in a rut. I had a healer once who said to me I would go to her religiously every fortnight and I said to her eventually when am I done? Like I'm good, right? She said are you serious? You'll never done healing? And I was like what? No? And it wasn't until I fell in love. I thought healing was getting better. But healing, or self-discovery work, or working with cycles of the moon, whatever your vehicle is, is actually the process of evolving, and I'm so in love with the process of evolving I couldn't imagine not being curious about what it is that has to go release the full moon so something else can come in, and I love it that you got immediate results. That's clearly what you've had. There is an energetic shift into alignment and obviously you're going to have to back that up with your thoughts and your actions and your choices, and that is hard. I'm not going to do it perfectly. Trust me, you're going to get back in your right, but that's perfect because there's just all stuff for you to understand about it. So the deeper that you go, the more authentic and bigger the shifts get. It's not just releasing the stuff because I want it to change. I'm so motivated to shift it because I can see what's happening Amazing.
Speaker 4:
Thank you, I'm like, as I'm sitting here in tears, I know.
Speaker 3:
I saw that it's beautiful. It's the process of, like you said, it's a constant evolution. It's not necessarily just, oh, I need to change, okay. Well, let's look at it. It's that mind shift right Like change, evolution. Let's evolve into the next phase, next story, next journey, next, whatever it might be, and I just I like that mindset versus, oh, I need to change this or this is dumb, I need to do something different. But well, let's talk about the evolution of what's going on. Let's dig a little bit deeper, yeah.
Speaker 2:
Because evolution has to be authentic. Right Because right. But Shalee is women. We are told and I'm sure men will say that the same experiences exist for them. But we are told what our life achievement markers are you might get a career, then you get married, and then the next one is you have kids, and then the next ones you probably lose weight because you're middle-aged, and then the next one is you lose weight and then you lose weight. And all of this, like we're told what it is the change that we need to go through. Oh, now you're in perimenopause and now you're in menopause, and it's all BS. We're so used to changing for the external and we're not taught the magic, as you've just heard, and the gift of really evolving and that we're supposed to evolve, we're supposed to heal, we're supposed to expand, we're supposed to be doing all these things. And my argument is like if you've got this energetic force in the sky that completely changes the flow of the oceans on a daily basis it's that magnetic why wouldn't you harness its energy? Why wouldn't you want that help and that support to push you in your evolution and enjoy the process, as opposed to being like, oh, I'm 20 kilos overweight, now I have to, or pounds, or whatever you guys call it over there Now I have to change. Or my husband's left me, now I have to change, or I have to go back to the workforce, now I have to change. No, we get to be constantly expanding and flowing and curious and playful, with the whole cosmos on our side. Yes, please, yes, please, yes.
Speaker 3:
Yes, I'm so much joy.
Speaker 2:
Can you be joyful though? Shouldn't it be joyful? It is yeah absolutely 100%.
Speaker 1:
Absolutely yeah, because it's also autonomy, like you were talking about sovereignty. Right, it's you, it's you get to be you. Yeah, which is foreign for so?
Speaker 2:
much. I think that this is the biggest thing is that, like when I was getting ready because I get the moon resources ready about a week out from each moon just to make them available to the moon nephers so that they have time to digest it and hear the guidance and then understand what ritual I'm guiding them in for that and what they're going to take up, because they don't have to do it every time. But when I was looking at the new moon in Aquarius, I got a bit nervous from really honest, because it is about like who are you as an individual, like what is your specialist? And I know that's going to massively stump a lot of people because when we're about to embrace that and we're not celebrated for that and we're made to feel a little bit silly. The thing I love about where you guys live, you've got a little bit of advantage over. You know people in Australia and I think the UK as well, because culturally we have a massive tall poppy syndrome going on. So if you're a little bit special, if you're a little bit successful, you're brought back down. But you guys live in a society where it's celebrated, where everyone's like, yeah, go get yours, go be you. And I think that you should harness that and run with it, because here it's so much harder to do that culturally in a lot of ways. So this new moon is going to trigger a lot of people because purely of that, like, who are you as an individual? And it's a question that it's sad that a woman in her 40s maybe comes to and goes I don't know, and that is day in, day out. I see with clients like I don't know who I am, I don't know what I want, I don't know what my purpose is, I have no idea what my path is, I don't even know what I like. I don't know what I like to do. Yeah, and this is why just that tiny little bit of self-inquiry at each full-in-you moon Will begin to start to maybe Unravel a bit of that or at least get you curious about it. Because at every full-in-you moon, on the moon membership, you get journal pumps, you get affirmations, things that just allow you to get a little bit more curious about you. And gone are the days of Join Weight Watchers and do it like everybody else and it's gonna work for you. Or you know, take this program and do it and you'll get the same results. I'm noticing on tiktok at the moment, everyone's selling some Marketing program or something and it's ridiculous amount of money and then everyone has to take it, make it their own, and I think guys Don't do it because it don't do it. It's not, it's one-size-fit, all a. It's like those days are over, but be how boring. I want to know what you have to offer, what you think is great. I want to be inspired by what lights you up. I'm getting on this call before we hit record Melinda's in her beautiful San Francisco 49ers. Jesse Couldn't care less, but I love it that she's pumped for that. I know that she's probably gonna rush and watch that game and have the best afternoon. I love that. I love that for you and that you love that you know, and so to discover that is has to be an inside job. No one can do that for you and that is why I purposely don't hold like live online events every fall and you ruin, because it's way too easy to turn up and Sit and have a nice experience and then go back to your life, whereas you actually have to log in, you have to click the button on your email, you have to read the resources, you have to decide to put side of time time aside to do the journal prompts or maybe sit in the guy you get a guided meditation and every full enuminal as well. You have to do that yourself and it's okay. You don't do it every time, but it's that personal empowerment of like I am creating the time to do this. You created the time to write, to reflect, write that list down and burn it. No one forced you to do it. That's why it was powerful. But if I had said come to my moon circle and we did it there, you would have had subtle only experience. You would have gone home and told your husband about it and Guaranteed next day you would not have got that text guaranteed.
Speaker 3:
I think that's gonna be my new motto. This is an inside job, an inside job very much.
Speaker 2:
Yeah, move out of my way you know, relationships really tough and they're like, you know, and I'm telling him what I want and I'm telling what I'm like, no, you're not. You're telling him what he isn't doing. But is what he isn't doing really what you want? You don't know what you want because you don't even know yourself. But yeah, so afraid to go inside and see because it might make the outside and how their life looks not what they want. And then, once they know it's not what they want, they ever have to learn to live with it or change it. And that's my people freak out.
Speaker 4:
But I'm like guys, it's so, whether it's a weather, yeah, so, christian, I know I'm like we are coming up on time and we could talk to you for hours. Yeah, oh, christian.
Speaker 3:
Oh, there's, there's so much, there's so much. One more question, really quick, because I know we are coming up on time and again. This might be a very stupid question, but, as Marlene had mentioned before, astrology is very it's like mind-blowing because there's just so much. So we are in the time of Aquarius and that lasts for how long is that? The like 20 year cycle You're kind of talking about like with Pluto or like what? How long is that period?
Speaker 2:
So full disclosure I'm not an astrologer because you're very knowledgeable. Because the moon cycles are so linked to astrology. Yeah, thank you me. Or birth chart. I'd be like that's a pretty picture.
Speaker 3:
Don't know what that means. I love all the triangles.
Speaker 2:
You gotta throw a lot of shapes in your life. I don't know, but the more you do something you did, the just more you know about it, like this has been right now, 15 years for me doing this. You know, and so you just learn about it. So I know about astrology in relation to the moon or where the planets are sitting and the impact that they're having at that time. So, in terms the age of Aquarius, so we went into it, we dipped into it for a couple of months last year, went in it now. So Pluto has moved into Aquarius for the next 20 odd years and and it will dip out though later this year Pluto goes back into Capricorn for two months, but just two months, and then it settles back into Aquarius for, let's just say, our foreseeable future and with that that's just a normal cycle, like it happens all the time. So we know, for example, like I'm 44 now, so the age of Capricorn started when I was in my late 20s, when really my and for that time, and especially because of the star signs I am like my birth chart that was a real kicker for me. The last 13 years have been really, really hard. These next 20 years are supposed to be really good, but I think I've earned them, so I'm really here for that, but collectively. What it means as a collective is that it's almost like humans have come to this point where it's like, oh, if things don't change, we are not going to survive, and the impact, basically what Pluto does, is really get to the death and destruction and then rebirthing and rebuilding of everything Aquarius touches. So, like I said before, aquarius is all about power to the people, what's good for the whole. You can be as individualistic as you like, but if it takes away from the whole aka the stark differences, the Kardashians like you can be you, great, be you, but you're taking away from the whole. Because you're hoarding the wealth, you're putting yourself kind of on a pedestal. You're completely contorting even your physical body for something that some other people can't have. Basically, that had nothing to do with what Aquarius is about, which is individualism, own personal gifts, and so basically, this arrow wants us to show up as ourselves, with our gifts for the good of all, not to take from others. It is very feminine energy. It's like if you had children over for a play day. It's not like OK, that kid is really assertive, so they should have more of a snack than that kid. It's like no, it's too good for everyone. Everyone gets it all. One kid's allergic to peanuts. No one has peanuts, that's totally fine and everyone's happy to get on board type thing. So this is why women are really going to come into leadership, because it's a very feminine way of looking at things and I would be shocked if, at the end of these 20 years, our world leaders weren't a lot of women and men, I hope, really find their groundedness and their privilege of being a man who gets to really protect and support the work of women. So for us as women that's what I was saying before it's a huge privilege, it's a great time, especially at our age, because we're smart, we've lived, we've got experience.
Speaker 4:
Right.
Speaker 2:
And it's our obligation to step, in the age of Aquarius, into the truth of who we are and really enjoy being that. It's a privilege to be you. You chose to be born here at this time. Do not waste that opportunity, and it doesn't really matter what other people think of you. If they pick it up or put it down, who cares? It's about you. Full permission to yourself to be who it is that you want to be and how it is that you want to be it for the good of others.
Speaker 4:
I hope that answers your question and that is such a beautiful way to end this episode. So, kirsten, thank you so much for joining us. If you could let our audience know how they can get in touch with you, that would be fabulous, and we'll put it in the show notes as well.
Speaker 2:
Thank you so much for having me. I think, even just from what I just said, sitting in front of three women who are working together the name of your podcast exemplifies the age of Aquarius Three very different women, three very different focuses, purposes, missions, and how that can come together to work for all Like you, exemplify exactly everything that we've just talked about. So thank you so much for having me. I would love for you to get in contact with me so you can begin just by joining the Moon membership. The Moon membership is at thelightpathcollectivecom. You'll find the tab for the Moon membership. It is 16 Australian dollars a month, which is really cheap for you guys, because the Australian dollar is not a lot of fun when we come to the US. So it's just 16 dollars a month, but you get so many resources at every full on your moon, so you get like two lots of resources a month and you can leave it any time. So that's totally fine. Just start there. Get curious. You can find me on Instagram at thelightpathcollectivecom. I do have a ritual store that I just launched, so it's really small in terms of the product range, but I have launched my own line of bushflower essences, so vibrational essences to again just get really curious about your energetic body. So you can find that at theritualimporiumcom but yeah, that's where you find me Reach out Even if any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them, and I think the more of us that are curious and supportive of each other, the more powerful, individually and collectively, we will be Agreed.
